Can anyone help?

I have been in the building trade for 8 miserable years but have recently been made redundant. I have never really enjoyed it so i've now seen this as a chance to do something that i can enjoy. I have a love for the great outdoors and after considering many options, i have decided to try to persue a career in arboriculture, although i am still unclear of what paths i could take. I already have my name down for a 2 year level 3 BTEC in forestry and arboriculture at Kirkley Campus in Ponteland and i am due to start this in september. i would be grateful of any advice of what options will be available to me upon completion of this course and of any additional training would help me along the way.

It would also be a major help to me if anyone could give me any work in the north east area to give me a taste for it and to gain valuable experience, i would do this for free of course.

Thanks

Steve.
