Saw this at the bottom of a turkey oak yesterday (big tree 60ft+ next to building) The tree looks healthy enough, what would be a prudent recommendation, leave be and monitor over the next few years, would be my first thought but what do you peeps reckon??

One of the Coprinus sp, I would of thought.

More than likely saprophytic on dead/dysfunctional roots.

Will try and get a positive Id later.

 

Pretty sure its not one of the Armillaria.

 

 

Any shots of the stems?
