Stihl ms441

Unfortunatly the mtronic version is not here yet and im inpatient so i have the normal 441 which i must say is so smooth. very nice looking machiene looks like it was built from the ground up.

 

I would recommend any one looking for a medium saw to give this a look. I have a 25inch bar next week ill see how it copes and may go down to a 20 inch.

 

Any one after a husky 365 special 65cc really great saw but can be a pain to start if left for a week. pm me

True, it is a great saw, especially so with greater anti-vib than its predecessor.

 

Did you go with the heated handle version, or are you toughing it out with the standard grip?

 

We had an guy in recently who downshifted to the 20" from the 25"... but not sure why to be honest. If it's balanced and your happy then stick with it!

Ran one with a 20" bar in the last company I worked for and found it well balanced with plenty of grunt. Then one day, the boss decided to put longer bars on all the saws (can't figure out why), 25" on the 441 seemed sluggish after being so used to the 20".

You are having a laugh?? I bought a brand new one on Wednesday as my 8 year old one went bang, The 365 is a great saw imo, Very underated:thumbup1:

 

Ive never had trouble starting mine Been left for a month sometimes, Fresh fuel and off she went

Not saying its bad its 8 years old to once its running it cuts with a 20inch very nice it may only be because we never changed the fuel filter maybe its hard at first till its suck into the carb ??.

 

any who im renewing my saws so my 441 replaces the 365.

 

i need a good 15 inch rear handle any reccommendations?.

Sorry i think i may have worded it wrong mate, or i may have had a beer or two I meant i was gutted as i would have bought the 365 off you instead of buying the new one

 

For a 15 inch bar my money would be on the Husky 357 OR keep the 365 and put a 15 on that, They run VERY well with a 15 on
