also, do you find it twists the rope much? every configuration i seem to use with the VT twists my rope ALOT.

its 67cm eye to eye, I like to tie the first half doubble fishermans and then theother slightyy short, then load it and get them to settle down before cutting off the waste. 65-70 cm would be about right.

 

Yes my rope does twist. you just need to climb some big trees to let it unwind.:001_smile:

Yeah its always fun to climb big trees. But the twists seem to go into it when coming back down as the rope feeds into the hitchclimber/hitch, so I dont think it will help much. :( Never mind!
