Fully agree mate, surely we do it more for the love of the trees than anything aswell.

People often dont realise its cheaper to train the staff and do the job properly and safely than face the courts if it goes wrong as if it dose you can prove you did everything in your power to avoid it.

THe 1974 H&S at work act has dramaitcally reduced accidents but people still die and are injured at work, this is why the HSE and others are pushing behavioural safety as its now peoples behaviour that is causing some of these accidents.

I still have a chat to people who dont wear PPE on our site, many dont see any danger as they dont know the site well.
