The ISA had an article in a copy of their magazine about moving palms in california. That was about 2 or3 years ago. The one I moved was destined for the chipper but then I sold it to one of my other customers. It was moved in jan 2006 and is growing well now. Moving in warmer weather means less chance of roots rotting between lifting and start of the growth. Some palms like full sun and others like this Chusan are forest plams and will tollerate semi-shade.
