Important note from ISC -

 

'We want to move quickly to assure our customers that this product is in no way associated with our KH255 swivel karabiner. This is a problem that we identified many years ago and make sure that all our swivel karabiners (whether aluminium, steel or stainless) use a solid pin fitted right through the body of the karabiner and permanently riveted on both sides. This means that the pin is permanently captivated and cannot fall out. The likelihood that the mushroom head on the rivet would wear away under normal use thus releasing the pin is practically zero – riveting is a method that has been successfully and safely used by ISC in karabiner manufacture for years and we have never come across any such incident.'
