Start saw and back off the L jet 1/8th of a turn, then try reving again, keep doing this 1/8th at a time till it picks up properly. If you have been playing with the idle you may need to re-adjust that afterwards.

You haven't left it with fuel in the carb without being run for a bit? - that causes mine to play up just as you describe, i always run it dry if it won't be used for a week or more now. Otherwise as Tom says above, or a trip to the dealer to get carb cleaned out. Hope this helps.
