Hi all,

I am just wondering if anyone has successfully managed to perform a DPF regen, ours is on 89% and keeps asking for Revs to be increased etc, as per the machine asks, follow the instructions and nothing has been happening!

We have spoke to an Avant dealer and appare It’s hit and miss whether it works or not, which isn’t helpful in one sense.

Anyhow, if anyone could give any input, it’s much appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard!

Yes, all a bit confusing.

As I understand it, the ‘increase revs’ regen should work when you are using it, but unless you’re flailing or similar, it won’t work.

Have you tried the DPF regen on the button, with it stationary?

Yeah, I was flailing earlier and did as requested, although it wanted to to apply the park brake before it would regen.

The temps was correct as per the instructions however, it just didn’t seem to do anything or show anything on the system. We then tried a force regen, that worked initially but only cleared 1% in 30 minutes

By a forced regen does it sit there, park brake on and rev high on its own?

It doesn't rev high on its own, however, on the system it does say that it's renegeration is active, the exhaust temperature does fluctuate on its own upto approximately 450c.

I've messaged avant directly and asked them for a comprehensive instruction as, it's just confusing as you said earlier.
