Hi all,

This may have been covered before, however a search on my phone revealed no results.

Took a conifer down this morning and noticed the saw hasn’t used any oil, bar is clean etc

Before me jumping to the conclusion of the oil pump, is there anything else other than the filter which it could be?

Thanks,

Richard.

The oil pump is held with on screw, if the screw comes loose the pump body will move and chew the plastic pump drive up, obviously check the filter in the oil tank first as this is easily done, the pump itself very rarely goes wrong so I can’t imagine it’s that.

Thanks for that, I’ll check that out tomorrow once I get back.
