Hi everyone – I’m starting this thread to introduce Geordie Saw, a new chainsaw supplier based in Northumberland.

We sell work-ready saws for forestry, firewood, and farm use – currently stocking Holzfforma models like the G372XP (71cc), supplied new with bar and chain. These are solid, high-performance machines that offer great value for money.

We're a small, UK-based business aiming to keep things simple:

Good saws at fair prices

Straightforward service

Fast UK-wide delivery

We don’t test-run every saw, but we’re always happy to answer questions and help if any issues come up.

Appreciate the space here – I know Arbtalk has a knowledgeable community and we’re keen to build a good reputation by doing things right.

Cheers,

Isobel

Will you be stocking the G888? I'm after one.

Have a g372xp, some.minor issues, they had to send me a new tank handle unit.

I see you stock their chains. My experience is the full chisel cutters are very good, cuts beutifully in my 2511, but the drive links are soft, and wont last much past a few sharpenings in a more powerful saw. Correctly tensioned, 28" bar, full chisel, cutting 50" diameter lime. Chain comes off and many links are completely mashed up.

Same on my 20T, I'm spiked up a 10m pole, on my own, I've got a scrench but cant get the chain back on. Decend and a closer look and all the links are mush.

I've never had the problem of mashed links with any other cheapy or branded chain and I've used many.

Shut up. The first things you’re supplying are knockoffs that you’ve claimed are

which they aren’t. They’re knockoffs that will keep coming back for warranty work until you, the customer or probably both of you are pissed off and out of pocket.

I’d have maybe understood if you were doing something to them, inspecting individually, replacing key components, tuning etc but you’re just adding a step to getting cheap shit from the internet. Change tack. The world needs quality, not more cheap shit.

Unfortunately, at this time we are not stocking hedgetrimmers, or the G888. Our main products are guide bars and chains, the G372XP, G395XP, file set, stump vise and brushcutter.
