Hi Guys, looking to see what is the general rate for cable bracing, I have 2 insignus pines to brace, no splits, probably a 4t system but may go 8t. I am contracting in a climber to do it, it's my first time doing it so not sure what to charge. Direction re pricing would be greatly appreciated

Nice day for 2 climbers, even better if you're not doing anything else to the trees and don't have to take anything away.

Did you spec the bracing or is it a recommendation from a survey?

It is a recommendation from survey, so basically you are saying to charge a day rate plus expenses I.e cable system. I'm ok with that, I just don't want to undercut or overcut myself

I'd also suggest to the client (if the surveyor hasn't already) that the bracing be inspected on an appropriate cycle and make them aware of the lifespan of the product - I think Cobra is 10 years?
