Has anyone got one of these? Mine came yesterday and initial thoughts are that with the visor down the vertical peripheral vision is really poor.

I've just stood 7 metres away from the wall in my living room. Compared to my old Husqvarna Technical Forest Helmet, almost 4 metres of ceiling disappeared from view. Obviously that's not particularly scientific, but it's a noticeable decrease in what I'm able to see. Has anyone else found this?

It's not a direct comparison, as the Technical Forest Helmet isn't a climbing helmet (or even a hybrid as the x-climb's supposed to be), but should that make as much difference as it has apparently done?

Not altogether unconnected, therefore, are Husqvarna's ear defenders any better at staying in their clips these days? The helmet's ear defenders falling off have been the bane of my existence whilst wearing it

It’s the same hat as the 3M ,I have that one I find it a bit top heavy I replaced the mesh with short visor to get better visibility ,I find it a good ground helmet as I have fitted the 3 M radio ear defender makes chipping more bearable, still use the Protos when  climbing I find the ear defenders don’t get snagged

Thanks for this. I must say I'm pretty disappointed in the visor. It's one of the basic ones and is fairly shapeless. I'm leaning to sending it back, which is a shame, because in theory it ticks a lot of boxes.
