prilled lime

Does anybody know where its possible to purchase small quantities of prilled lime, eg calciprill, calcifert, mulkical etc etc

 

I need enough for about 1ha in a woodland so i dont really want to be buying bulk 500kg bags if it can be helped, also its being put on by atv so 25kg bags would be preferable

have you tried Longcliffe Quarrie near Brassington tel 01629 540284, i used to work for them and they mine lime and have a lab turning it into all different sorts of lime for r&d projects - they also used to deal with calcifert and seaweed fert etc try them - ask for Bill Cooke and mention me (joy) he'll definately help if he can (they used to sell small quanitites of all sorts of calicum carbonates from hydrated to slaked lime and they always help out on small projects as they are still a family owned company and like to help on local projects and outlets etc - worth a try charlie

 

rohan just said - they do do it in 25kg size paper cement bags, as used to have it for cubicles etc, and also when he repped for them for the farmers, he picked up some calcifert for horse area in small bags and small quantity
