I’m wondering if there is much demand for some sort of Saw Bench and operator hire.

We’ve got an old PTO driven saw bench and tractor that we've used for our own logs. It’s perfect for logging small, annoying wood that’s a pain with a chainsaw.

In terms of HSE or actual demand for it I’m not too sure where it stands.

Day rate or hourly?
Would it be worth it?
Would people sooner log there end of the day cuts up themselves?

Try thinking how far you would drive on the tractor and back in a day? Is there enough business based on the area? What would be the cost/benefit ratio to the hirer?

If you have it anyway, try out a few adverts. Costs maybe distance + half day rates, based on an assumption that it if you have enough for a full days work you probably now what you are doing, half a day for those with a tree taken down and left 'for the firewood'.
