Tree id is it dying?

Hi everyone a complete newbie here and looking for help

planted two trees approx 4 months ago and was wondering 

if anyone can identify them 

also it seems as though one is dying or maybe I am wrong 

they are both deciduous but one the leaves or going brown and falling off

thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi, they are Rowan trees. 
The one that’s browning off is obviously not as good as the one with berries. 
in preparation for next spring you could try mulching the base. 
Was there a difference in soil texture between the two planting positions?

Otherwise, wait and see, it might be ok.
