The mounts on the new body sit on my chassis that's the problem

I see what you mean now, I would still use chassis mounts and fabricate new mounts for body to come out to meet.

Something like that maybe upside down to meet the original mounts should do it

Is the body rail inside the vehicle chassis rail, if so you'll have to weld sections to the body so the rails sit on top of the chassis rails. Cut off the body mounts and reweld them to line up with the chassis mounts. Leave a gap between the mounts so that a crushable spacer can be fitted to the four mounts at the rear of the chassis and I would fit spring loaded front mounts to the front. They are called Die springs from somewhere like

Yes body rail is inside the chasis rail I've seen them springs before good idea

Getting technical now how about (in red) 4x2 5mm steel across chassis underneath the body bolted to mounts cut out 50mm cutouts to sit the body In and weld away with the crush spacers at rear and spring up front like you said that way will get the lift I want still use original mounts and hopefully strength

I would still weld a full length of steel to each body rail to allow it to sit on the full length of the chassis rails to spread the load. it only needs incorrect hole sizes or holes drilled in the wrong place to crack a chassis. The flex mounts will be more important if you do weld as above because it'll make the body subframe stiffer and more prone to cracking.

That will add to much weight..

Think il have to go with what bill c suggested and forget the 2 inch lift and just deal with it will post pictures of it as I go thanks appreciate the help everyone
