alrite folks does anyone know who does the tree clearance for the powerlines in the lake district.cheers

UU have their own in house crews, Not sure if they stilll use subby contractors too! They used to a few years ago when i was on the powerlines.

what is uu i stay in scotland so all our lines are scottish power.

United utilities mate, Like i say, Things may have changed but i know UU do have in house tree gangs, As i used to work for them

what were they like to work for and what kind of money did they pay

They were good to work for, Massive company so loads of benefits, Good pension, Plenty of overtime, paid holidays etc, The money wasnt the best back when i was working for them (5 years ago ish) but ive heard that its alot better these days (a mate of mine still works there)

I used to work there with mozza too but then i made a manager cry and got sacked. Some folk dont like it when you growl at them louder than they growled at you eh mozza ha ha. Good old days
