Utility Arborists wanted!

Location: Bucks, Oxfordshire, Milton keynes

£30,000 - £37,000

 

We are a well-established tree care company looking for an experienced Arborists/groundsman to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out Utility line clearance on LV, 11KV, 33KV and 132KV. We also carry out other domestic and commercial works to get involved with also!

 

Arborist Responsibilities:

• Carrying out tree pruning, shaping, and removal operations
• Operating equipment such as chainsaws, wood chippers, and cherry pickers
• Ensuring that work is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Ensuring all health and safety standards are met on site

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Arborist or Tree Surgeon
• Knowledge of tree biology and proper pruning techniques
• Ability to operate equipment such as chainsaws, wood chippers, and cherry pickers
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safety and quality work

 

Education and Certifications:

• For the Arborist roles: NPTC qualifications.
• UA tickets desirable
• Driver licence
• Chipper, First aid
