Just reading up on setting up our business, under the Ltd company section on the gouverment website it reads the following........

*Must have at least one director (two if it's a plc) who may also be shareholders. Directors must be at least 16 years of age. At least one director must be a person.

So I cannot make my 10 week old pup a director then as hes not old enough!!

I got really bogged down into what the "person" means and laws surrounding the "person" and how relevant it was to the human being.

Blacks law dictionary 1st Edition

PERSON. A man according to the rank he holds in society, with all the rights to which he holds the place entitles him, and the duties which it imposes. A human being considered being capable of having rights and being charged with duties, while a "thing" is the object over which rights may be exercised. Persons are divided by law into natural and artificial. Natural persons are such as the God of nature formed us; artificial are such as are created by human laws, for the purpose of society and government, which are called "corporations" or "bodies politic".

Deep but once you get involved it gets really interesting.
