Himalayan Yew

Question

I am from Bhutan, and i got recently fond of this timber of Himalayan Yew. I collected few yew timbers for furniture making and got some left over.  But i heard its harmfuless to health, so wondering how harmfull it is. And i was trying to make a chopping board out of it. I want seek some guidance before making.

I just googled it- not toxic like the European Yew. However, it stated endangered and threatened with extinction due to illegal felling, etc. You should plant some more to compensate for your chopping of it down 🤔🙄
