full time job in logs?

I know a couple who work full-time in firewood, one even employs 2 others. If you can get to harvest your own timber, process it and deliver it then I cant see why not. But like everything else in this game, it will be tough for a few years to get up and running, and to keep it running.

It all depends what you are prepared to put into it, and what you expect to get out of it.

Depends how much you value your time (and your back!).

 

Getting a living out of it will be down to how you get your wood. Getting a good living might be a bit harder.

so andy you think if you harvest it and all,you may do?how do you go about getting in till forests and do you have till buy timber of the forestry??see i was think on cutting gardens in the summer getting a living at that then winter comes bang out the logs..would that be a good or bad idea?

its not a case of selling gold plated logs, its a case of getting the customer to think they are buying gold plated logs:thumbup:
