Klou Swing Arm Grinder

Hi All,

I have been offered a used 2018 Klou grinder with the swing arm. We have a Pedestrian grinder and often hire a predator 38.

I have watched video of the klou attachment but wondered if anyone had any first hand experience of one. It will go on our Avant 630. Are they good? Productive? How do they compare with a 38hp tracked grinder like to predator?

Thanks

Ive used one on a micro bull. The actual grinding was slower than the Predetor but looking at the bigger picture it was quicker. Loader used for the tree, drop the grab and grind, then drop the grinder and pick up the blade/bucket and tidy up, over all only one machine to move, maintain, insure etc etc

Iv got one on the Vermeer. For the money it is fine for the odd small to medium stump, have done large stumps but takes a while. We still hire a big Bandit if there’s a lot to get through. Takes a bit of getting used to but perfectly capable, IMG_4915.thumb.jpeg.7e0c74179791af7b199b5ef930344cbd.jpegnot as quick as a dedicated machine but  a quarter of the price. Customer service from Klou is always fantastic.
