I've shifted em that size before. The root ball is a bit of a ball breaker!..weighed so much that when we eventually managed to lift the thing, it totally flattened the wheel-barrow!. One that I moved is doing very well in my own back garden now:001_smile:

i did a monster with a jcb years ago, it had to be removed for an insurance job, we just leaned over the wall ona sunday morning and howked it out, chucked it on the tipper, the ends were hanging about 6 feet in front of the cab, then we just tipped it into a huge hole in my mates dads garden, it has been there for 9 years this summer.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
