As per title looking for a cheap ish kindling machine. Will only be used to produce our own kindling so not looking to spend a lot on one, needs to be one that takes round wood.

Also looking for a decent used processor, something like a tajfun 400, Posch 360 sort of machine.

pm with details or send phone number and I’ll give you a call. West Yorkshire based.

thanks

Chris

How much kindling will you need for personal use for a season? To me a machine is a bit excessive for what I use but each to their own. My kindling machine was about £10 from the large DIY warehouse*.

Softwood logs at 200mm, hand axe, happy days. Pallet, saw with an old chain, and a hand axe, nearly as happy.

(* other large DIY warehouses are available)

(serious question though, how much will you need will give us an indication of what you are looking for)

Hi Steven,

sorry when I said kindling for own use I meant to produce just for our own resale through the firewood business.

probably be looking to do around 1k nets per year roughly. Budget 2-2.5k on the kindling machine.
