This really ticks me of,mature Sycamores are imo one of our most beautiful trees, the timber is of great value, also good fire wood, people seem to dislike things that are successful :cussing:

I love Sycamores

I don't think it's quite like that but i can see all points here, i have noticed that oaks are really suffering, and that sycamores obviously have their uses but as a tree to work on, look at, and if i had a choice of tree to have in my garden sycamore would be second from last(last being any type of conifer)

So far then a general :icon14: for the Sycamore. I love em but they are coming down this week

We can only persuade customers against their "better" judgement. Except the times I walk away coz I couldn't live with myself i.e 6oo yr old Yew dismantles:bawling:

Sorry you my have already said but why do they want them down, could they not just have some down if it's case of light, leaves making mess, you know usual crap reasons that people give for wanting them down?

Leaves in the gutters, Light, TV reception, blah blah, trees were there before the houses tho. In this instance though I think the trees remaining- Oaks will benefit and one is quite close to house.
