More likley the Juglans will struggle to get water amd nutrients with the allready establised trees. What age are the establised trees?

Dont think it will be too much of a problem for the surrounding trees, not if its a young tree to mature tree ratio.

MMMmm..dont know much about the ecology of Juglone, but may be risky planting new saplings too close to it.Better to be safe and re establish the walnut in the middle of a lawn away from saplings.I would think as the root area expands so will the risk of the toxicty to other plants.
