River and Rural Limited seeks:

 

Tree climber/tree surgeon urgently required for a one in a million job providing high quality tree services for the public sector, commercial and private clients in, on and around water bodies, woodland and ag land throughout East Anglia based out of our Cambridge riverside depot.

 

As a tree climber/tree surgeon, your duties will include felling, pollarding, pruning, hedge trimming, stump grinding and chipping amongst other duties. Specialist marine training will be provided.

Your input and experience will play an important role in the continued expansion of the forestry and agricultural wing of our business with real scope to progress into a management position. Our client base includes a variety of government contracts, navigation authorities, forestry, agricultural, ecological, commercial and domestic markets.

 

This is a full-time permanent position for a tree climber/tree surgeon which benefits from :

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A TREE CLIMBER/TREE SURGEON IS ESSENTIAL.

 

Must have full clean driving licence, ideally with B+E. Minimum three years experience CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, CS41

 

Ideal new member will be proficient in large scale dismantle, crane work and pruning works.

 

Full UK driving licence

qualified for 3 years

High standard of workmanship, following British Standards 3998.

Assertive, approachable, with excellent communication skills and physically strong to be able to carry out the work required.

Flexible and reliable.

 

Desirable:

 

CS41 - PA1/PA6First aid at work and a CSCS card

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

 

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday + Overtime (if needed)
