Question
Ameadows21
I have a River birch that’s been planted in my back yard since fall of 2017. 3 of the 4 trunks are doing great and have grown considerably each season. The other one looks very sickly and is about 4’ shorter than the others. It doesn’t have the peeling paper bark look either. It got bent over very badly in an ice storm a couple winters ago and had looked like this since. It does still grow leaves and fill out pretty decently though. I’ve been holding on to it thinking it’ll snap back one of these years. Would you all cut this off?
