Hello

I bought a second hand Stihl MS 260 C off ebay. It ran well when I picked it up but no wood to test it on. I have since found that it wont cut well due to choking when cutting. Ive only bought it to reduce stumps before grinding. Anyone have an idea why this might be happening? The chain is new so it cant be that. Ive probably just been done with a shit old saw!

Thanks

Possibly the carb tuning, possibly a carb issue possibly someone has todged a saw out of crap Chinese parts.

I did have one with a flappy choke that made it do that - you can pull the choke off with it running and try it without.
