stolen grab

Hi all, not really posted much on here before but am a keen follower of many of the threads. Unfortunately we've had a visit to our yard at Oake near Taunton in Somerset and the thieving scum have taken a timber grab attachment. The said grab is an attachment for the Vermeer s600tx (tracked skid steer loader). It is very distinctive, basically it looks like a timber crane grab with a plate to attach to the loader, it is predominantly yellow with Vermeer written on it! I'm trying to find a picture and will upload one when i can.Info from Vermeer is that there are not many of these in the UK. It was noticed to be missing last week, as we don't use it every day and was not with the loader, we don't know for sure what night it was stolen. Any info would be greatly appreciated as i really wont it back, thanks Colin.

Sorry to hear that Colin! Thats abit to close to home for my liking, will keep my eyes and ears open.

They could of stole it for its scrap value, may be worth a visit to sims scrap yard in taunton. Was in there last week and it was FULL of pikeys.

Thanks Tom, i'm afraid its all to common these days. The really annoying thing is it is normally kept in a far more secure place but had just been repaired and was left in our yard. Weve checked with the local scrap yards but no luck asd of yet, prob in the back of someones shed cause they dont know what to do with it. Thanks agian hope alls well with you, Cheers.
