Groundsman required Birmingham area

We are looking for a full time experienced/qualified groundsman to join our team. 

We are looking for a polite and punctual individual.

 

The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications CS30, CS31 and wood chipper certificate anything extra is a bonus.

 

They must be able to carry out general groundsman duties such as:

* Hedge trimming & topping (unsupervised),

* Rigging and keeping the ropes tidy at all times,

* Competent in use of chainsaws

* Sharpening the chainsaws

* Operating the chippers

* Helping out with the general maintenance of the machines,

* Good quality clean up and workmanship.

They must be willing to learn to operate machines such as:

* Stump grinders

* Avant loader

* Excavators with attachments

* Log splitters and processors.

 

A driving licence is essential due to the location of our yard.

 

Our work is a mixture of private and commercial so no two days are the same.

 

Extra training and qualifications will be provided for the right person who shows motivation and commitment.

 

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and has a good work ethic.
