On another note, im doing a work party this morning, on the same site where i found that bracket that i thought was hapilopilus nidulans, not the one i got recently, but way back, shall see if there are any other fruit bodies for adding to the box!

 

as i now think it may have been something entirley different having now seen the nidulans propper.

A wedge is one sample, the rest whole bodies.

 

i doubt they will reject the samples, be more interested than annoyed i suspect, theres a lot of goodies in this box!

Cost of posting them will be heavy I suspect.

You should see if you can drop them down to the Jodrell lab in person :001_cool:

Perenniporia fraxinea on Robinia psuedoacacia, a new host IME, shall go see the records later and see if there are many other records on this host, suspect there wont be many.

Perenniporia robiniophila perhaps?

 

But that's suposedly a North American sp.

 

We have Perenni on Robinia at Hampstead, can't find the shots of it on the tree though......:confused1:
