Hamadryads fungus diary

Recommended Posts

Amazing pics Hama, is it the use of a flash that has made the drops glow on the top two pics?

it is mostly just timing my photographic trips at the right time of day for the light and under exposing by 1 3rd of a stop, which super saturates colour.

this shot is for you david, the shed behind in the image is the Ashridge park groundscare shed, by the resturaunt, reckon youll locate this one late summer? right alongside the field boundary, by the fence, you cant miss it, its just past the old beech with the multiple applanantums! after that beech, youll pass an ash with a low hispidus canker, then boom, theres the oak, reckon it will fruit again this year, was a massive beast this last autumn!

The REAL Dryads saddle IMO

Cheers

btw, if you book a flight into Biaritz, hire a 4x4, drive down to San Sebastian and then follow a set of incredibally secret maps.........then you might be lucky enough to come across this fine fungal playground amongst the Beech pollards of the Basque :sneaky2:

Failing that, I might just give you the coordinates of a few Fomes at Hampstead :001_tt2:
