Stein RC-3001 Single Bollard Lowering Device

Im thinking of buying said model and just wondered who if any of you use it and how you get on with it?

 

Also whats the best diameter lowering rope you found as im thinking that 16mm is prob going to be what im buying as that will do everything i'll prob ever do.

Not sure on the device, but rope wise 16mm will deal with most stuff, if you need bigger then it will probally be a crane job anyway!!!

Easy to setup, easy to use, 16mm is fine. This device will last you forever, and as said, if you need anything bigger, use a crane.

Used one for the last 2 days, very pleased with it. 14 and 16mm both work fine, it is rated for up to 19mm, which I have no doubt it would handle just fine.
