Anyone done or recommend a decent course, I want to put one of our team through something useful.

IOSH lworking safely is quite good. You can do it online with the British safety council. 

 

If you want to take it further then there is a l3 IOSH managing safely.  You can go the Nbosh general certificate but that is quite involved. For the day to day working safely will be fine.

 

I've done IOSH level 2 and 3 working and managing safely. Both with the British safety council. I've also done their COShh one too. Very good tjey are too.
