I'd make the gasket out of a piece of aluminium sheet and use a screw from my bits and bobs.

Fab, many thanks.  It appears that they no longer stock the actual muffler body? don't suppose you'd have any idea where I could source or if there is a body from another model that would fit my 028 AV Super?
