Hi guys, I have a mahoosive project to quote for in Taunton. I need a nice specimen oak around 700-900 dbh and 7-9m tall. (that I can buy to carve so prefferably no tpo!)

If I can't find the right oak tree, I will need to construct one from various other bits so anyone with a felling job approaching with oak involved I'd appreciate contact. I really want to use local timber to Taunton because it will suit the project better.

any leads?

(and yes I know its a tall order!!)

:confused1:

I cut up a wind blown Oak on one of our estates in Devon 18 months ago. The trunk is still on the drive and the right diamer but I think its more like 5-6m. Is that any good?
