old fungi on oak

hello,

 

been a while since i posted on here!

 

anyhow came across this today on a large old native oak. i thought initially   it looked like Inonotus hispidus, but on oak seemed unlikely? all old ganoderma resinaceum i have seen retain there upper brown lacquered surface at this stage? 

 

any thoughts?

The semi circular lines seem to indicate G.resinaceum. But the texture is more like hispidus.

 

I'd go I.hispidus
