Just want to pick someones brain.

Β

How long does it take before a root rot becomes a problem? I know that water and the type of fungus and host species effects it. I started thinking about it when i saw some surface woody roots decaying on a salix , but there is no fungus at the buttress or under the roots.

Β

In geneal how long does it take? months? years?
