Experienced Arborists and Groundsmen Needed!

Cutting Edge Tree Services have been around since 2005 in the sunny Bay Of Plenty of New Zealand.  We cover commercial and residential tree services from small to large land clearing contracts. We have excellent equipment, including grappled diggers to assist in our chipping and tree work. 

Arborist Role:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in climbing (min 12 months)
  • Can communicate well with customers
  • Team player
  • Physically fit and motivated
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Willing to Learn
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Drivers Licence
  • Digger Experience an advantage, but not essential
  • A sense of humour

 

Groundsmen Role:

We need a groundsmen to assist two Arborists.  It includes assisting them on the ground.  It includes labour, digger work by feeding the chipper (full training provided), tree trimming and a bit of tree climbing work.  We require someone who would love to train as an Arborist and already has groundsmen work experience.  You must be motivated, a can do attitude and be reliable!

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in groundsmen work 
  • Experience in trimming trees
  • Wanting a career in Arboriculture
  • Can communicate well with customers
  • Team player
  • Physically fit and motivated
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willing to learn
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Must have full car drivers licence - at least 6 months
  • Digger/Excavation experience to feed the chipper an advantage, but not essential
  • Class 2 licence preferred, but not essential
  • A sense of humour!
