Hi guys, can anyone help please, had a lad drop a 009 off with me that was bogging down under revs. Fit new carb kit and saw now runs sweet. Hes requested i source and fit a new chain, only thing is i cant get any info on what chain it should run? The bar is in very good condition with visible part number stamped 3005 000 6309. Its a 14” bar, from what info i can get from the maintenance manual, and it states its 3/8 pitch, but cant get any more info than that? Can anyone help with a specific part number for the chain please, he wants it to be a genuine stihl chain too. There are no markings on the original chain at all so i cant even decide from that ?!! It has been filed to the max so is desperate to be replaced. I’m thinking it should be part number

3617 000 0050, can anyone concur? Thanks guys.

Thanks rough hewn, The bar i have on it reads 3005 000 6309 but cant make anything else out on it [emoji30] visually it looks thin, 3/8 1.1 or 1.3mm but cant be sure? The maintenance / owners manual states 14” 3/8 but tells ya no more. As its not my saw i darent risk taking a punt on it being 1.1 or 1.3mm for obvious reasons. My gut feeling is 1.3mm but could do with being sure [emoji37][emoji106]
