Hi, i have an 024 chainsaw with terminal pump failure, basically its stripped the gears of the pump piston, "it came to me with a no oiling prob" my question is can i upgrade the pump to the later pump, either with or without adjuster.  See photo's of damaged pump plus pdf drawing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Got same pump on my woodboss, my pump casing is cracked cos it broke a spring on clutch and grabbed hold! [emoji35] i ordered the later type pump but it wouldnt fit and oil drive was different, this one is constant drive from worm being nipped up against crank with clutch, the later one i received was driven from a nylon worm driven by the drum [emoji30] also pump body was slightly different so wouldnt fit inside crankcase housing [emoji30][emoji30] ended up just putting it bk on cos it did still work. Just didnt like seeing my saw with an incomplete part fitted.
