This finally arrived, an English translation of Bernd Schulz,s identification book. RRP of £45 but available on Amazon for less than £30. It's got some excellent keys, although some of the botanical terminology is a little deeper than I'm, personally, used to. The glossary is sufficient enough though to work your way through.  

 

Like Collins Tree Guide, with over 700 species of trees and shrubs, this book will be one of the first go-to books for winter tree identification help.

thanks for the heads up - looks good,  just ordered off ebay £27.83, ordering books is the easy bit, I'd rather buy a data implant
