echo 360 tes oil pump

the oil pump has gone on mine, doesnt like to sit unused with veg oil in it!

just wondering where to get one at a reasonable cost, had a quick google and they seemed a bit pricey !, maybe thats just what they cost.

They are expensive, £50 inc the dreaded.

 Are you sure its completely knackered? Oil pumps in general usually dont break, its the parts around them that fail, worm drives in particular. (experienced based on other brands as never had to replace pump parts on an echo except worm drive on cs2511)

 

Unfortunately they only list the pump as a complete unit, they dont sell individual components within the pump.

yes it took it apart and the cog is chewed, seems to that it would be better if the worm gear was made of a softer material and would fail in the event of a jam in the pump,
