Sigh. Inspired by Mozza's earlier thread, I thought I'd post damage from an even more innocent pastime. The washing up. :blushing:

 

Sorry for the appalling quality (phone's a bit bashed up), but that is a photo of my thumb after trying to catch a kitchen knife post washing up... muppet. With a severed tendon. :bored:

This is 2 weeks, 1 2hr operation, and plenty of injections later...

 

I'd just passed my CS38, had my 39 almost booked, some part time industry work coming up and things were looking up. (I love this arb stuff, even if I'm almost full time sport turf etc at the mo)

 

I'm not out of the splint for 3 weeks and can't climb until the end of January at best.

Oh well, at least someone else has to drive to (and more importantly back) from the pub!

Thanks in advance to all you people that keep the forum ticking over and my arb drip running!

P.S If you can afford a dishwasher, go for it.
