Hi all.

Tekst found:  Logosol M8 sawmill will not fit a Husqvarna 3120 XP or Stihl 088/MS 880 without some mounting modifications.

Anyone here know precise what sort of mounting modifications is required to make it work?

Regards

Erik Straarup

Thanks for that. I'm hoping to go to the Logosol open day this Saturday to take a look at the farmers mill and M8 but was hoping to use my 880. I'll have to phone them before i go.

Think I'll keep the 880 for the Alaskan mills and use the Husky 365 with the low pro setup on the farmers mill to mill up the smaller diameter logs if i buy one.

Chainbrake handle hits the uprights so would need to remove brake handle on a 3130. Not sure about an 880

Thanks Hungrysquirrel, thats no big deal, there is no use of the brakes on a sawmill anyway and I will only use it for the logosol m8, as I have 3 other chainsaws to use in the forrest :-)

Had a great day at the Logosol open day spent to much but not as much as first thought as ended up having a deal on the ex demo farmers mill. Had a bit of money left to buy the saw carriage with the winch log ladder xl log clamps.
