Defender 110 tipper advise needed

Not normally at the yard this time on a Sunday but we have a call out....... sigh

Haven’t got a Landy but my hilux conversation looks the same and I was advised from the company that my original 5 leaf springs would be ok, they weren’t at all chipper and basic kit slammed it on the ground. Upgrade to a 7 leaf spring instead, massive difference and had them on for four years now and still great. Got my leaf springs from , midland road springs.

Unfortunately defenders don’t have leaf springs as that would be an easy fix[emoji106]

No mate always BF's. If your going to load it up. Slightly more money but well worth it and I run a lot of defenders haha.

What type of volume of chip can to safely carry on ur defender? Mines pretty dangerous with about 2 cube or about 500kg

Completely full mate. I would assume about 1.5 ton it's a fairly big body. Will see if I have pic loaded. Equally our MEWP weights in around 3.4 ton (based on hicap). Something defo doesn't sound right with yours. I'm just trying to figure out what.

I would be happy with 1.5tons... Due to mine being so crap all it’s done over the last year or so is carry hand tools and ton bags of crap off jobs when the transits full!

Yeah I really don't get why. May upset the tranny boys but the defender with the right body can carry more weight legally than any tranny can. I will see if I have some pictures with one of them full.
