Suffolk Woodchips Ltd are looking for a full time tree harvester operator to fell small diameter trees with a Bracke energy head and a self propelled wood chipper driver for our operation producing wood chips for energy, equine and horticultural markets. We are based at Brandon in the centre of the 47000 acres of Thetford Forest (Norfolk) and due to ongoing contracts can offer all year round work and regular working hours.
We are a small but friendly team looking for someone who can operate, service and maintain machinery (training will be given). Forestry crane experience is an advantage but isn't a necessity.

It isn't hard work but attention to detail and pride in your/our work is required.
I started in this line of work from a farming background with (no forestry experience) over 25 years ago and have never looked back -- maybe now it could be your turn.
If the above is of interest to you, please give us a call on 01842 813555 and ask to speak to Mike Farrow or Mike Edwards about the role. Alternatively give Mike Farrow a call for a chat about the role on 07881 904100
We don't have a website at the moment but you can find us on facebook.
We look forward to hearing from you.
