Hi there.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a suppler for nachi bearings in the uk? and if anyone has changed out the nylon cage bearings to metal ones in the x torq cases.

Thanks

Elliot.

Looked at this issue when i had a bench overflowing with 560xp bottom ends which had all suffered failed bearing cages in the end i rebuilt 6 with new Husky parts and have had no issue with them , had a couple of 372 x torq's with shot cranks at fairly low hours , lack of air filter cleaning will kill a modern saw fairly quickly

thanks for the reply, i have come across a few people on the web replacing the plastic cage bearing with metal one but it sounds like the Husky ones will be good. I have had the rpms lowered on the saw so i hope it lasts abit longer.

There is new cage material now which lasts much longer. There was a reason for 365/372 bearing failure at low hrs, that to has been resolved.

Thats interesting i didn't know that, i have mid to high hours on mine now but i think a good fuel/oil mix and regular servicing has kept it going.
